The new CA-Series expands Continental’s equipment offering with 30-, 50-, 75-, 80-, 115-, 120- and 170-pound dryer capacities, along with space-saving 30- and 45-pound stack models. The expanded lineup gives laundry managers greater flexibility when designing laundry facilities and matching dryer capacities with companion washers.
The line complements Continental’s on-premise dryer offering with:

Ease of serviceability is among the many advantages of the CA-Series. A front-hinged control panel provides quick access to the main control, diagnostic lights, ignition control and gas valve, while removable rear service panels simplify maintenance of motors, drive belts, fans and utility connections. A sliding lint drawer with a durable stainless steel micro-mesh filter screen allows for quick cleaning, and the microprocessor control continuously monitors machine performance with self-diagnostic reporting to help minimize downtime.
Operators will also appreciate intuitive controls and flexible programming, including:
- Bright LED display with six preset and programmable favorite programs, plus 40 additional dry cycle options.
- Factory preset cycles or fully customizable programs that can be saved for repeat use.
- Programmable dry time, temperature, adjustable rotation time, reversing and cooldown parameters, plus AutoDry with flexible dryness settings, including conditioning for ironed goods.
- Simple timed dry and cooldown functions.
- Audible end-of-cycle alarm with adjustable volume settings.
Built for durability and everyday ease of use, CA-Series Dryers feature an ever-bright stainless steel cylinder backplate with galvanized cylinder walls and lifters, an oversized steel door frame with gasket-less tempered glass, ergonomic twin door handles with magnetic door closure, an oversized trunnion and rear bearing with cylinder leveling, and a durable white powder-coated cabinet. Optional stainless steel cabinet fronts and full stainless steel cylinders are available for operations seeking enhanced corrosion resistance and extended equipment life.
Designed for fast, efficient drying, the CA-Series utilizes efficient axial airflow on stack models and a radial airflow system on single-pocket machines. The radial airflow system works with mechanical cylinder rotation to lift and separate oversized, bulky loads for quicker, more even drying. Optimized airflow and balanced heat input help reduce drying times while lowering utility consumption. Oversized doors and ergonomic handles further accelerate loading and unloading to improve laundry throughput.
Standard models are available in 208-240V/60Hz/1-phase configurations for 30- through 80-pound models and 208-240V/60Hz/3-phase configurations for 115-, 120- and 170-pound models. Reversing cylinder operation is standard on the 115-, 120- and 170-pound models and available as an option on select three-phase 30- through 80-pound models. Electric and steam heat options, additional voltage configurations and LP conversion kits are also available on select models.
